Help in selling paper beads?
I make these balls of paper that my teacher taught us to do in art class. The girl in my school who makes jewelry recycled love my bills but now that he moved to California I have all these bills and nothing to do with them. I live in Neptune, New Jersey. When either here or online I can sell these accounts? My accounts are not like any other person I know. Mine are very uniform and are not just ways of balls in plain old, mine are very different. It may take up to ten minutes to get a ball to do, and that's not including the paint being put on and dried, and ideas on how to sell these?
Your best option will depend on how many accounts you have to sell, if you plan to do more, and how you feel with the cold places of call. But here are some options for selling online and offline. Visit local grain stores and ask if they are interested in selling their accounts there. They may be interested direct purchases or selling them on consignment (usually a 30/70 or 40/60 deal where you get the biggest percentage gain and the smallest percentage). If you have a lot but do not intend to produce more, you can ask about doing a trunk show. Then just sell for a couple days. The shop or have a cut or if they pay a fee. Tips for marketing to the store, regardless of method of sale: 1. Know how much you need to pay for balls – the numbers work based on the materials used, working time, etc. Without knowing what you need to deal with each account may be wrong. 2. Dress very well. 3. Keeping accounts in a tightly. 4. Bring a sample peices of jewelry made with beads or balls. You can also use if you have the nice photos. 5. If you are still in contact with her classmate, ask him to send some pictures of the jewelry she has made with the heel and to write a recommendation accounts and why he liked working with them. 6. Know your points of sale: organic, recycled, unique, high quality construction, manufacturing local, handmade, etc. to sell online sites: Ebay, Etsy, Craigslist, retail sites such as Artfire. Craigslist is free to publish things, but only local buyers see them. , Etsy, and other craft websites or Ebay auction will charge fees for listing the item number and selling the items. Tips for selling online: 1. Know your price and shipping method will influence the decision of a buyer. (Decide whether to offer free shipping, a normal rate, the Combined shipping or pickup options) 2. It has lots of good quality images. Include pictures of ways in which the grains can be used. This will how people think might want to use them! 3. Provide measurements of the accounts from a close-up photo does not convey accurately the size. You do not want complaints that the grain was larger or smaller than expected. 4. Make sure your text emphasizes selling points of the beads – recycled, unusual materials conventional, consistent quality, unique, etc. One last suggestion: Wear jewelry made with beads. I promise people will notice and ask about them. I've done many sales in my fused glass pendants this way over the years!
